Your correspondent seems to deny that there is genuine political case for a seperate Telangana state. By bringing a legal issue, the correspondent is setting up another barrier to the formation of Telangana state. It's just one more bias cloaked in neutrality. I will bet that this correspondent is not from Telangana region

The 'correspondent' who wrote this needs to go and read the meaning of journalism again. The article starts by asking for exploration of all options and then all it talks about is debunking the Telangana agitation - period. Volte face by TDP AND PR only! What about Cong(I)? What about Madam? And what is 'so called' about the Telangana agitation. And he does not even know his history. AP formation was a gentleman's agreement which was never adhered to in spirit. There is no legal tangle in the world that can keep oppression and freedon tied down.
Remember, legally in the US, just 75 years ago, women could not vote and 300 years ago blacks were slaves. If people like this correspondent were to have their way, then we would still be living in the dark ages.
Telangana is a need for telanganites. Hyderabad is part of Telangana. If as this correspondent says we are bound by a close linguistic brotherhood, we should be able to live like brothers even after separation - it'll still be the same country. The very point that he does not want Hyderabad in Telangana means he is afraid the Andhra guys will lose something which they have now - dominance through money. That, my friend, is not called brotherhood - its called jingoism.
And it definitely is NOT journalism.

Reg: Explore all possible options. Author has not explored the impact of the people. So called leaders, of political spectrum have failed to bring wisdom into play to resolve the issue of Telangana state. Common man from Telangana, have used their wisdom, given many opportunities to the unscrupulous politicians since the curtain call of states reorganization of 1952-1956, followed by the Osmania University lead students agitation of 1969. Students were deceived by the Congress politicians in the name of development, ruling elite duped common man again and again leading to suicides. People from other lands have become the decision makers for the fate of common man in Telangana. What a shameful scenario.....! People of Telangana have every right to ask the central government, of its motives to suppress the aspirations of the people to have their own land/region developed utilising their own natural resources (Godavari and Krishna).
Please refer to Bharath ka Savidhan, The Constitution of India. The union and its teritory Article 3: Formation of new states and alteration of areas, boundaries or names of existing states- Parliament may by law:
a) form a new state, by seperation of territory from any state or by uniting two or more States or parts of States or by uniting any territory to a part of any state;......... Subs. by the Constitution (fifth Amendment) Act, 1955, s.2, for the proviso.

As per the question of Hyderabad city, it belongs to Telangana state. People and their leaders of other states and other lands cannot contemplate to indulge in divisive politics to meet their own ends sans peoples desire to govern themselves in their own state of Telangana. I ask every one from any background political or non political to use their wisdom to bring peace, harmony and civility in the state of Telangana.

Dividing AP state is very very bad for Telangana people. Especially for young students coming out of engineering, medicine & other professional colleges who will have few opportunities. Corrupt politicians who are looking for self-benefit are telling Telugu speaking people to fight among themselves.
Many IT companies & non IT companies have suffered a lot & I am sure they have thoughts to move out of AP specially Hyderabad. Chandrababu Naidu had encouraged many IT students & also asked IT international companies to come to Hyderabad & set shop. Now all going to dump the place once separate satte is formed. I request Telangana, Andhra peopke not to allow separate state. Also request PM & his colleagues not to form seperate Telangana state.
