Vijayawada jobs

Employment News, the flagship publication of the Information and Broadcasting Ministry's Publications Division, has gone online. With this, the content of the publication becomes accessible to all at the click of a mouse. (www.employmentnews.gov.in)
For long a staple of job-seekers, the weekly carries information/advertisements on Central and State Government jobs, employment opportunities in PSUs, universities, foreign institutions, etc.
It also features admission notices for professional courses, examination notices and the results of tests or examinations conducted by organisations such as the Union Public Service Commission, Staff Selection Commission and other general recruitment bodies. Advertisements on mid-level career promotion opportunities (deputation) are also part of the publication.
It also has an editorial segment containing articles on conventional as well as emerging fields with employment potential and on self-employment opportunities.
The online version of the publication has features that make it particularly useful to job-seekers. The site has been attractively designed, with well-laid out navigation links to its different sections.
The regular examination watch and job highlights segments in the print version of Employment News can be found on the home page of the website too. Lending a cutting-edge to the site are slots such as `career guide' and `featured career.' Links to the past issues/archives will come in particularly handy to those who might otherwise find it difficult to track the print version of the publication, issue after issue.
The homepage features links to the results section.
But the feature that most job-seekers are likely to find very useful is the site's mail alert service which e-mails information to them directly.
Four types of alerts — relating to job highlights, examination watch, career watch and result watch — are available for delivery to one's inbox. It is also possible to submit questions online to the Q&A section, which features replies to readers' questions on course and job-related matters. Its archives provide a ready point of reference to those who are seeking such information.
Links to several key official organisations, which have something to do with employment and careers, have also been listed on a page.
